Dorchester has submitted the next phase of plans for Heyford Park, which marks a significant milestone in our long-term vision to transform the former RAF Upper Heyford into a vibrant, sustainable new settlement.

The submission sets out a masterplan for up to 9,000 homes - including 2,700 affordable homes, 900 assisted living units, and 180 homes for key workers - alongside new schools, community spaces, and employment opportunities supporting over 5,000 new jobs.Sustainability continues to sit at the heart of what we’re building with a vision to become the UK’s first renewable energy surplus town. Over 60% of the site will be dedicated to open space - from nature corridors and walking trails to a 135-acre runway park.
